Terms of Service

These terms apply when you book or take a tour with TUK Me Out, operated by Alexandre Cruz, based in Albufeira, Portugal. By making a booking you agree to them.

1. Bookings and confirmation

Submitting the booking form sends us a booking request. Your tour is confirmed once we accept it and confirm with you (for example by WhatsApp). Only one booking is possible per time slot; if a slot is no longer available we will help you find an alternative.

2. Prices and payment

Prices are shown per TukTuk. Every TukTuk seats at least three passengers, and some seat up to six, so larger groups may need more than one TukTuk. The price shown when you book is an estimate based on three-seat vehicles; if a larger TukTuk is available your final price may be lower. We confirm the final price before your tour. Payment is made in cash on the day of the tour, directly to the driver. No deposit or online payment is required to book.

3. Pick-up and service area

We pick you up at the location you provide. Free pick-up is offered within our standard service zone around Albufeira, Portugal; pick-ups further away may include a distance surcharge, which is shown before you confirm. Pick-ups beyond our maximum range cannot be served. Please be ready at the agreed time and place — drivers may have limited waiting time so they can keep other bookings.

4. Changes, cancellations and weather

You can change or cancel your booking at any time, free of charge — there is no cancellation deadline or fee. We simply ask that you let us know as early as you can so we can free up the slot for others. Since payment is made in cash on the day, no refund is involved if you cancel beforehand. Tours run in most conditions, but in case of unsafe weather or circumstances beyond our control we may reschedule or cancel a tour and will offer you an alternative time.

5. Safety and conduct

For everyone’s safety, passengers must follow the driver’s reasonable instructions. The driver may decline or end a tour if behaviour is unsafe, illegal, or puts passengers, the driver or the vehicle at risk. Children must be supervised by an accompanying adult at all times.

6. Liability

We provide our tours with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss or damage that we could not reasonably foresee, or that results from circumstances beyond our control. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under mandatory Portuguese consumer law.

7. Your privacy

We handle your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of Portugal. If you are a consumer and we cannot resolve a complaint directly, you may be entitled to refer the matter to a Portuguese consumer dispute-resolution body. You can reach us first at tukmeout8200@gmail.com.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version shown here, with the “last updated” date above, applies to your booking.
